Calling for a perfect candidate who’s based in Melbourne (or willing to relocate to Melbourne) to take on the role of Technical Product Manager for a financial services company.

Your mission at the company

Now, back to you. Here’s what you need to do if you like working with them:

▪️Develop, own and manage the lending platform by integrating your knowledge and feedback from stakeholders & customers to drive improvements and enhancements for new products.  

▪️Keep eyes on compliance, regulatory frameworks and customer data – you gotta think ahead and make future-proof decisions. 

▪️Plan out the big picture (strategies) and the everyday (tactics) for scaling the business, whilst also keeping an eye on incremental improvements that make life easier for your colleagues and customers.

▪️Validate new product pipeline, including project management and scoping across technical, legal, compliance and financial domains. 

▪️Manage a Melbourne-based development team, this means you will closely collaborate with them to ship products and features in-line with business strategy.


Here are the requirements

▪️You’ve got a strong track record of shipping products and/or features with live users, and balancing trade-offs.

▪️Technical-minded (strong understanding of development and integrating APIs), while having knowledge of regulation and compliance or a background in the financial services industry is a PLUS.

▪️You can turn an idea into a product: specifying products to development teams and creating key documentation along the way.

▪️You understand the ROI of new feature delivery and can prioritise accordingly.

▪️Comfortable with managing budgets, leading a team without authority, wearing multiple hats (and surely learning a lot), working under pressure to deliver the most excellent services to customers.
